Quinten T. Cupps

Attorney Profile

Mr. Cupps brings solid experience to the firm, having previously focused his practice on landlord tenant law, real property law and commercial litigation. Having spent more time in court than in his office on most days at his prior firm, he is comfortable in the surroundings of the courtroom appearing and establishing rapport with judges in dozens of precincts and venues throughout the state. His experience includes all facets of litigation, including depositions and discovery proceedings, motion work, oral argument, trial work and appeals.

Mr. Cupps graduated with unparalleled academic distinction from the University of Toledo School of Law in Toledo, Ohio, making the Dean’s List 5 out of 6 semesters. As a law student, Mr. Cupps had the unique opportunity to hone his legal writing and analytical skills as an intern for the Honorable Judge Arlene Singer, a federal appellate court judge for the Sixth District Court of Appeals, District of Ohio. Among other scholastic recognitions, he earned the highest grade of his graduating class in a course on Creditor Debtor Law, an area of primary application for his current community association clientele and practice.

Before law school, Mr. Cupps attended Brigham Young University on an academic scholarship for undergraduate studies majoring in International Studies, with a minor in Latin American Studies. Several years earlier, Mr. Cupps spent two years living abroad in Paraguay engaged in benevolent service to the people there. In his service and studies abroad, Mr. Cupps learned to speak fluent Spanish, which proves to be an invaluable asset that he continues to use in his profession to communicate with bilingual clients and debtors and bridge communication gaps to more efficiently resolve many matters turned over to our firm.

Mr. Cupps is licensed to practice before all Arizona courts, including all state courts and the United States District Court. Mr. Cupps is a member of local and national professional organizations, including the Central Arizona Community Association’s Institute (CAI) and the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM). He has contributed to authoring materials taught in “HOA 101” courses for The Leadership Centre (TLC), a nonprofit organization focusing on building stronger communities and training community leaders, and other continuing education materials presented in a national seminar presented on communication association collection law provided through LORMAN Education Services.
Mr. Cupps is an avid sports fan. He volunteered as a Team Leader of Event Services on the Olympic Committee hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah, from April 2001 through February 2002, and was a member of the Sports Law Club as a law student. He has been a competitive swimmer and golfer, and regularly plays golf and tennis. When he is not in a court, or on a sports court, Mr. Cupps devotes his time with his wife and children. His sons keep him busy playing and attending sporting events of every kind.
